​The Atlanta Public School System, like many others in the United States, is embroiled in debates surrounding funding for public and semi-public charter schools.  These discussions often highlight the disparities in financial support and resources available to different educational institutions, impacting the quality of education that children receive.  We, at Academy 13, believe that we can revolutionize funding to support the education of America's children.  And it is rooted in UMBUNTU.

Frequent changes to core curriculum and high-stakes testing have been criticized for failing to address the root causes of educational Inadequacles. Instead of fostering meaningful learning experiences, these practices often result in increased pressure on students and teachers without ylelding significant Improvements in educational outcomes.
